WHAT TO DO IN ALICANTE


San Juan´s beach is Alicante's most famous beach, with a very high-quality fine sands stretching from 5 km long. It also areas reserved for various sports such as beach volleyball, football, windsurfing, etc.



Alicante Golf, designed by Severiano Ballesteros, is considered to be one of the best maintained and designed golf courses in the whole of Spain. It is highly regarded for its complete practice area and has some ruins of a roman village in the middle of the 14th hole..


 
 Alicante is the capital of the Costa Blanca and offers wide palm tree-lined boulevards, spacious plazas, and some of Spain´s best night life. You cannot ss the Explanada de España and the port, the Santa Barbara Castle, the Mark Museum and the Barrio de Santa Cruz.






 If you are coming in June (20-24th), you will enjoy the Hogueras de San Juan, our lively and colorful annual fiesta celebrating summer solstice.


In the nearby, you could visit the Tabarca Island, a protected marine reserve located approximately 15km from Alicante; and Benidorm, which  is about 30 minutes drive away  - ideal for a family day out at one of the theme parks: Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, Aqualandia or Mundamar.
